Subjects Taught
First Grade, Kindergarten

In May of 2009 I received my Associates of Applied Science in Early Childhood Education from Cleveland State Community College. I then went on to Lee University where I graduated with my B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies K-6 in May of 2011.

My first experience teaching was during my time as a substitute teacher at Black Fox Elementary School. (That was when I knew I was to go back to school and become a teacher!) I did my student teaching at Michigan Avenue in Kindergarten then went on to student teach under Sylvia King in 5th grade at Blythe Bower Elementary School. During the 2011-2012 school year I was back at Blythe Bower as a Reading Interventionist. I worked with 3rd, 4th and 5th grade TIER III students.

I am originally from Ocala, Florida but have lived in Cleveland since the fall of 1991. I am married to my best friend, Jody Morgan and have two fantastic (young adult) children that are our pride and joy!  I enjoy spending my free time with my family and friends. I LOVE college football and the Florida Gators!

I love MAS and teaching First grade. I look forward to a wonderful school year working with you and your child!
